Rosana is an international attorney licensed in the state of New York, in the Federal Courts
Eastern District of Michigan, Immigration Courts and Brazil, with demonstrated history of
working in the law practice for over 10 years. Rosana is fluent in English, Spanish, and
Portuguese which allows for the unique opportunity to serve clients, both locally and
internationally, in their own comfortable native language.
Rosana is passionate about helping individuals, families and business clients navigating legal
issues. As an immigrant and a naturalized American citizen herself, Rosana is able to apply real
life experience and compassion to every individualized client. Her strong community
engagement, cultural sensitivity and diverse background have enabled her to assist individuals
and families in realizing the American dream and successfully immigrate from Brazil and other
countries to the U.S.

Since joining Stacer PLC in 2018, Rosana has concentrated her practice in immigration
litigation, visa and consular processing and federal criminal defense. She has successfully
represented clients in non-immigrant and immigrant family-based petitions, removal
proceedings, waivers of inadmissibility, administrative appeals and denaturalization litigation.

Rosana serves businesses with employment applications and Labor Certifications. Rosana has
also worked in a variety of federal drug cases, child exploitation, illegally procuring immigration
and federal frauds charges.

Rosana assists clients in cross border transactions, corporate and business matters involving
Latin America and Brazil. She is consistently developing solutions for complex international
legal issues.

Rosana has a LL.B in law from Federal University of Goias, in Brazil, a J.D and LL.M degree
from Wayne State Law School, in Michigan. Before earning her American J.D, Rosana worked
over seven years in Brazil in the fields of civil litigation, criminal law and electoral law. In the
U.S, Rosana interned for the Honorable Judge Avern Cohn in the Federal Court for the Eastern
District of Michigan. Rosana also worked as a summer associate at Hogan Lovells, in Mexico
City, developing Latin American international business skills. She clerked almost two years in a
Michigan law firm specialized in corporate law, real estate and probate matters. Rosana also
acquired labor and employment experience by interning at the National Labor Relations Board.

As a typical proud Brazilian in her spare time, Rosana enjoys traveling to Brazilian gorgeous
beaches with family, cooking and eating "churrasco" with family and friends, exposing coworkers,
clients and new friends to Brazilian cuisine, culture and music.
